MSFS 2024 Touches Down Next Week

Hi all, I’m very excited to talk about the installation of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024) releases on November 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM EST. There are many cool features to be included in the newest installation including a Career System, improved world assets and reprilation of Earth, and for those who are getting the collectors edition of the game, you get some awesome goodies in store for you. I myself started becoming interested in flying when I was just ten years old, and while to this day I’m not very good at it, I still enjoy flying both in real life (as a passenger of course) and in simulations.

A New Way of Flying

With MSFS 2024 comes a new way to start your Aviation career. You can create an actual avatar and customize how you want and you can even have your own voice in the game. From there you will choose your home base and you will receive training to get your private pilot license and once you do pass it, you will unlock two new “skill trees”, one for fixed wing aircraft and another for rotary aircraft. From there you can choose your own career path and work towards owning your own aviation company with your own aircraft that you will have to maintain and employ other ai pilots. This feature has been a highly sought after feature ever since Euro Truck Simulator 2 came out in 2012, which isn’t a flight sim game but people loved it so much that they wanted it to be implemented for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (now called the 40th Anniversary Edition). Sadly Microsoft wasn’t able to implement it earlier but ever since MSFS 2024 was announced, this feature specifically was and still is the most highly anticipated feature of the game. Hopefully, I will be able to build up my Virtual Aviation Company soon from saving up money for aircraft, airports, ai crew, and even for aircraft maintenance too.

Better Than Google Earth

MSFS 2024 perfectly replicates Earth down to various ships, flights, and even wildlife. With this new edition of MSFS 2024 you can do everything from taking off from Oil Rigs and some Class G Airports. You can also take flights copying real life flights for example you can take the same routes as a United Flight based on what they typically fly to and from.
