Tournament for kids with cancer

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I am looking to see if the community or other orgs would like to work together in making some magical experiences happen for kids battling critical illnesses.

I am working with my local Kids With Cancer Society to find kids who want to team up with semi pros and pros in a gaming tournament.
Often times, these kiddos are stuck in the hospital and gaming is the only thing they’ve got to pass the time. Combining that with how much joy and hope impact their health while they fight illness, having a community rally around them makes a huge difference.

I would like to open the door to others who wish to participate in either helping me organize this or just participate as players if we were to do this.

I have a very very big soft spot for helping children battling cancer and I’ve gotten to see firsthand how these positive experiences impact them. Attached here is a picture of a 9year old boy named Fletcher who was diagnosed with cancerous brain tumours earlier this year that unfortunately took his eyesight. I was introduced to him and told he wanted to go for a ride in a tank and had the pleasure seeing him when he met the people of the Canadian Military and go for that rip. There truly is nothing in this life that is better to experience than seeing the joy this brought him and his family.
Also… he’s 3months cancer free as of last week 🎉❤️
